MEDIA ADVISORY: Southern Technical College to Welcome New Patient Care Technology Program March 12

WHAT: The Orlando campus of Southern Technical College, “Southern Tech,” will host a Grand Opening Celebration of a new program devoted to Patient Care Technology (PCT). The new program is geared at healthcare professionals seeking career college training in this emerging field. In Florida especially, with an aging Baby Boomer population, this field of study is expected to grow.

WHEN: 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, March 12, 2016

WHERE: Southern Tech College-Orlando is located at 1485 Florida Mall Ave.

Public is welcome to attend.

EDITORS’ NOTE: This will be a high-energy event with a DJ, barbecue and tours of the two-building campus. Students and faculty will be available for interviews in English and Spanish.
