At Southern Technical College, the Associate’s degree program in Applied Electronics Technology – HVAC (Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning) is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment to install and service residential and light commercial air conditioning, heating and refrigeration systems.  The Applied Electronics Technology – HVAC program is designed to provide students with a foundation of knowledge and technically oriented experiences in the application of HVAC systems.
