TRADE & HEALTHCARE WORKFORCE FORUM COMING TO SOUTHERN TECHNICAL COLLEGE – TAMPA

Southern Technical College – Tampa will host Trade & Healthcare: Workforce Forum with Lieutenant Governor Jay Collins on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:50 a.m.

This free community event will bring together students, educators, employers, veterans, business, and civic leaders to discuss workforce development, employer partnerships, and talent gaps in Florida’s skilled trades and healthcare industries.

The program will feature remarks, and a meet & speak from Lieutenant Governor Collins, an Electrical Technology micro-stop, a Diagnostic Medical Sonography exhibit, an experiential Surgical Technology Lab activity, and a workforce conversation with regional employers and education leaders.
