Orlando, FL – (March 1, 2016) – A group of 75 students and staff from the Orlando campus of Southern Technical College, “Southern Tech,” gave back by volunteering Feb. 25 at Clean the World® headquarters downtown.
The eager group (pictured above) sorted 328,000 toiletries that will be distributed in other countries as part of the charity’s efforts to provide hygiene products that can help save lives.
Pictured left to right are: staff members Jannia Louidor and Eunice Rosario-Diaz, who worked side-by-side during the Clean the World sorting project.
“Our students were excited about going out to help the community,” said Louidor.
The community service and global awareness project also served a team-building project outside of the classroom.
