Southern Technical College Honored Again by International Public Speaking Association

Sanford, FL – (Feb. 12, 2016) – Three students from the Sanford campus of Southern Technical College, “Southern Tech,” received honors at a local meeting of Toastmasters International last week. This was the second honor in recent months following a presentation in November.

“We’re proud of our students for being honored by Toastmasters International once again,” said Nikki Reynolds, communications instructor, Southern Tech-Sanford. “Toastmasters International is a great platform for students to network with others, improve their speaking skills and enhance their professional development.”

Since being founded in 1924, Toastmasters International has helped more than four million men and women become more confident in their speaking and leadership skills. The organization’s membership exceeds 332,000 in more than 15,400 clubs in 135 countries.

Seminole Toasters (seminoletoasters.toastmastersclubs.org) meets weekly at the Seminole County Services Building in Sanford.

Southern Tech-Sanford is located at 2910 S. Orlando Drive.
