Program Offerings

Southern Technical College has three core degree concentrations which allow students to choose from a variety of today's most popular careers. The admissions team will help our students find the career program that fits the strengths and natural preferences of the student.

The STC Medical Assistant program prepares you to become part of a high-performance team in the exam rooms and administrative offices of clinics, hospitals and pharmacies. Many of our programs also include the coursework you'll need to take and pass industry-recognized certification exams.

The STC Medical Billing and Coding program is designed to prepare students to enter the medical field with the skills and knowledge needed to be effective in today's modern medical environment. Students learn skills such as business communications, medical office administration, keyboarding and computer applications, medical terminology, medical transcription, medical insurance procedures, medical coding and computerized medical billing.

The Southern Tech program in Applied Technology is offered with the intent of preparing students for entry-level employment in the major area of Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology. The purpose of these programs is to provide students with a foundation of knowledge and technically oriented experiences in the application of technology systems.
